The Naiman, meaning The Eight, was a medieval tribe originating in the territory of modern Western Mongolia, and is one of the 92 tribes of Uzbeks, modern Mongols, in the middle juz of the Kazakhs, Karakalpaks, Kyrgyzs and Nogais.
